Q: I filled out an application, when can I be expected to be placed out on assignment?
A: OmniSource does not guarantee employment. OmniSource prides itself with supplying the very best and qualified workforce to our customers. OmniSource will make hiring decisions based on placing the best candidates for the jobs we have available.

Q: When I am working on assignment, who do I report to?
A: OmniSource is your employer of record, no matter which customer location you are working. Please contact your OmniSource representative with any questions or employment issues.

Q: How long does my job assignment last?
A: Though many assignments are long-term placements, OmniSource does not guarantee the length of any assignment as they vary in length.

Q: When can I expect to be paid?
A: Payday is Friday. Do not contact your OmniSource branch office until Friday to question about payment.

Q: What should I do if I am injured while on assignment?
A: You must notify your immediate supervisor AND OmniSource representative immediately. OmniSource must make arrangements for you to receive proper medical care in accordance with our Worker’s Compensation policies.

Q: Do you offer benefits?
A: Yes! OmniSource offers an optional limited benefits plan through Benefits-In-A-Card. You can find out more about them at www.benefitsinacard.com

Q: Do you drug test?
A: Yes! OmniSource promotes a drug free workplace. All employees will be subject to a drug screen before being placed out on assingment.
